Job Description
Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule

Night shifts, 3 shifts per week (19:00 - 07:00). Weekends required, equally split among staff.

Assignment Details

Position will float between units. 48 hours approved for this role.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license required.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery is necessary.
• No on-call requirement.
• Experience with the Epic electronic medical record system is preferred.
• Specialized skills in triaging, laboring, recovering, postpartum, and newborn care required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
• Assist with triage and manage post-partum care for mothers and newborns.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed.

Compliance / Notes

Must work at least one winter holiday, scheduled in pairs: Thanksgiving + Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas + Christmas Eve, New Year's + New Year's Eve.
