Are you an experienced machinist looking for a long-term opportunity with a stable manufacturer offering a 4-day work week, competitive pay, and room for advancement? We are seeking skilled Machinists to join a growing team in East Rochester. This is a permanent, direct hire position offering excellent benefits and a climate-controlled work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC and manual machining equipment including lathes, mills, grinders, and Wire EDM machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T, and work instructions.
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Perform machine offsets, tooling changes, and setup adjustments to maintain tight tolerances and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot machining and production issues to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Maintain tooling, fixtures, and equipment while following safe manufacturing practices.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and work collaboratively with production teams.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of machinist experience preferred.
• Experience with CNC machining, setup, and operation.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining principles.
• Familiarity with feeds, speeds, tooling, and machining processes.
• Stable work history and recent hands-on machining experience.

This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY.

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $79040.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
