Key Responsibilities\n

• Administer comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly clients to identify individual care needs and treatment plans.

• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions addressing various emotional challenges associated with aging, such as grief, loss, and life transitions.

• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians, social workers, and nursing staff, to develop and implement thorough care plans.

• Provide education and support to both staff and families about mental health strategies to improve the quality of life for elderly clients.

• Facilitate grief and loss counseling, helping clients and their families navigate the emotional challenges of end-of-life issues.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
