ENERGY SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Centra Sota Cooperative is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Energy Service Technician to support our propane and fuel operations. This hands-on role installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs propane and fuel systems and equipment while providing exceptional service to our customers. We are a people-focused cooperative offering honest and helpful information, innovative products, and exceptional service from a reliable team of experts who care.What You’ll DoInstall, remove, inspect, service, and maintain propane and fuel tanks, equipment, and related systems.Diagnose and repair propane and fuel system issuesSet and place tanks and operate equipment such as flat-bed trucks, tank trailers, cranes, dollies, and trenchers.Perform maintenance and help keep tanks, vehicles, tools, and equipment safe and operational.Provide professional customer service and communicate with customers about equipment, service needs, and safe product handling.Provide propane and fuel delivery support as needed.Cross-train and assist in both propane and fuel operations based on business needs.Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours and emergency service needs.What We’re Looking ForHigh school diploma or GED.Mechanically inclined with the ability and willingness to learn propane and fuel systems, equipment, and practices.Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.Ability to meet CSC driver qualification requirements and comply with the company’s Drug and Alcohol Policy.Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain a Class B CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and DOT medical certification.Willingness to work in both propane and fuel operations as needed.Previous propane, fuel, mechanical, service, equipment, installation, maintenance, or repair experience is preferred but not requiredBenefitsComprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, short- and long-term disability plans, voluntary benefits, retirement plan, paid time off, and more.Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.Why Centra Sota?We are a people-focused cooperative dedicated to honest service, innovation, and supporting the communities we serve.
