Job Title: MCS Supply Chain Associate Job Description

The MCS Supply Chain Associate (Associate Supply Chain Dispensing) supports biopharmaceutical manufacturing by accurately picking, dispensing, staging, and delivering materials in a fast-paced, warehouse-based biotech environment. You work 100% onsite, follow strict current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety requirements, and cleanroom gowning protocols. This role requires strong attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving, clear communication, flexibility, and a willingness to learn while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable material flow to manufacturing.

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and departmental procedures with strict adherence to cGMP and GDP requirements.
• Support the processing of materials for manufacturing facilities, including accurate picking, dispensing, and staging activities.
• Perform material handling tasks in a warehouse environment, including the safe operation of Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs) as required, with training provided onsite.
• Gown to Grade 8–9 standards and work in classified dispensary areas in accordance with cleanroom and gowning protocols.
• Identify, escalate, and support resolution of potential risks related to dispensing, warehouse operations, or manufacturing support activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete operational activities associated with warehousing and dispensing.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, work center team activities, safety programs, and internal operational excellence projects.
• Provide support during regulatory inspections and be prepared to present information and documentation to auditors as required.
• Identify operational issues, roadblocks, and process improvement opportunities and communicate effective solutions to area management.
• Maintain the Kanban system for consumables to ensure adequate inventory levels and material availability.
• Support external warehouse operations and related tasks as needed to ensure seamless material flow.
• Collaborate with Global Distribution teams to meet evolving business needs and support supply chain continuity.
• Complete all system and physical transactions promptly and accurately, ensuring full compliance with applicable procedures.
• Support warehouse functions related to shipment, dispensing, and material movement in accordance with procedural guidance.
• Assist with documentation-related activities, including supporting documentation revisions and contributing to deviation investigations and CAPA-related tasks when applicable.
• Gather operational metrics, assist in preparing reports, and help present findings to area management to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

• Availability to work various shifts as needed, including day, swing, weekend, and holiday schedules based on production requirements.
• Ability to work onsite under general direction and seek assistance when needed.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills applied in a regulated, fast-paced environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and auditors.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and push or pull heavy loads using material handling equipment.
• Proficient math skills to support accurate dispensing, weighing, and transaction processing.
• Commitment to safe work practices and contributing to a strong safety culture.
• Ability and willingness to support warehouse functions related to shipment, dispensing, and material movement in line with procedures.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing operational priorities and production needs.
• Willingness to perform physical work in an onsite warehouse and cleanroom-adjacent environment.
• Ability to follow cGMP, GDP, SOPs, and cleanroom gowning protocols consistently.
• Comfort working with digital tools and systems for transaction processing and documentation (with training provided as needed).

• College degree is preferred.
• GMP/GDP experience in shipping, dispensing, warehousing, manufacturing, or quality is preferred.
• Experience supporting documentation revisions in CDOCS or similar documentation systems.
• Knowledge of Digital Quality Management Systems (DQMS) and Quality Management Tracking Systems (QMTS), including support for deviation investigations and ownership of minor deviations and CAPAs.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Experience operating Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs) in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with scales and weighing operations used for material dispensing.
• Experience gathering operational metrics, preparing reports, and presenting findings to area management.
• Experience supporting internal operational excellence or continuous improvement projects.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Teams.
• Prior experience in a biotech, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environment is beneficial.
• Experience working in or around cleanroom or classified areas is an advantage.

This role is 100% onsite in a warehouse-based biotech environment that directly supports biopharmaceutical manufacturing. Work schedules rotate between day and swing shifts every six months. The initial schedule is a day shift from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Pacific Time through the end of June. After that, the schedule rotates to an 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM Pacific Time shift for the next six months, then switches back to day shift, with this rotation repeating. You work in a fast-paced setting that includes warehouse areas, classified dispensary spaces, and cleanroom-adjacent environments. You regularly perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 35 lbs and pushing or pulling heavy loads using material handling equipment. The role involves operating Powered Industrial Vehicles (with training provided), working with scales and weighing equipment, and using digital systems such as ERP platforms, DQMS, QMTS, CDOCS, Smartsheet, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Teams. You follow strict safety requirements, cGMP and GDP standards, SOPs, and cleanroom gowning protocols, including gowning to Grade 8–9 when working in classified dispensary areas. This is a Contract position based out of Thousand Oaks, CA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
