Regulatory Specialist I

Regulatory Specialist I processes and reviews items for CDs, IRA CDs, and legal mail, ensuring all required documents are completed and holds are properly placed. This role works with Relationship Managers, Retail Associates, and Back Office Associates, delivering superior client service and managing multiple priorities efficiently. Essential Functions / Responsibilities Review Reg CC items and ensure proper holds have been placed. Review new CD/IRA documents and verify that all required paperwork has been completed. Process outgoing IRA transfers. Contribute to process improvements. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed to Perform Essential Functions of the Job High school diploma or equivalent. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to change priorities quickly and handle multiple priorities under time constraints. Attention to detail and precision. Listening and collaborative skills. Preferred Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of CD and IRA accounts. Experience with Jack Henry Silverlake core system. Level of Complexity and Scope Ability to handle basic tasks to support the department. Degree of Independence and Decision-Making Use independent judgment and high responsibility. Work with minimal supervision. Responsible for making day‑to‑day tactical decisions and supporting strategic direction. Physical Requirements Sometimes lifts and carries less than 50 pounds. Frequently sits, stands, and walks; may sit or stand for long periods. Works on a computer most of the day. Compliance Statement Responsible for meeting all compliance requirements imposed on First Financial Bank by state and federal law and regulation, including Bank Secrecy Act, Anti‑Money Laundering, OFAC, Suspicious Activity reporting, and other lending and deposit compliance requirements.
