Physical Therapist - Outpatient

Role: Physical Therapist in an outpatient rehabilitation setting, focused on improving patient mobility and quality of life through hands-on care, education, and prescribed movement. Collaborates with a team of therapists and assistants to treat patients of all ages and abilities. Responsibilities Evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and set goals for physical or developmental dysfunction and independence in daily activities. Reassess treatment effectiveness and adjust plans accordingly. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home programs and preventive measures. Maintain timely and accurate documentation of patient care. Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers regarding treatment and progress. Adhere to departmental policies, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols. Participate in educational programs, meetings, and special projects as needed. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree required; Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred. NM Physical Therapy license required. Current BLS certification required at hire.
