Pay or shift range: $65,000 USD to $85,000 USD The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join a strong healthcare team with an excellent firm culture! The ideal candidate will have experience working with medical records, legal pleadings, and case preparation. Prepare deposition materials, including binders, medical records, and diagnostic imaging files. Draft discovery responses, court pleadings, and client correspondence. Request and track medical and billing records from clients and third-party providers. Review medical records to identify relevant providers and involved staff. Abstract medical records and prepare chronologies Draft authorizations, non-party requests, and related compliance documentation. Conduct research on Medical Review Panel nominees and summarize findings. Prepare itemizations of damages and expert review materials. Draft client reports and case update summaries. Required Competencies, Education and Experience 3 plus years of experience with healthcare litigation and medical malpractice Proficiency in legal research, writing, and drafting legal documents. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
