Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer IIWe are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II who supports the development, improvement, and maintenance of manufacturing processes to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role works closely with engineering, production, quality, and maintenance teams to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and solve technical problems.Key Responsibilities:Develop, improve, and document manufacturing processes.Support production by troubleshooting equipment and process issues.Analyze production data to identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality improvement, and increased throughput.Implement lean manufacturing practices and support continuous improvement projects.Work with design and engineering teams to ensure products are manufacturable and cost-effective.Specify, test, and support installation of new equipment and tools.Create and update work instructions, SOPs, and process documentation.Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.Train production staff on new processes, tools, or equipment.Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Required:Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)5 - 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experienceStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsProficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement toolsAbility to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentationStrong communication and teamwork skillsExperience with ERP systems and basic data analysisPreferred:Lean Six Sigma certification or similar trainingKnowledge of Industry 4.0 conceptsExperience leading cross-functional improvement projectsWe are unable to support H1-B, TN or STEM OPT candidates at this timeSkills and Competencies:Process Improvement & Lean ManufacturingTechnical Problem-Solving & Root-Cause AnalysisCAD Proficiency (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.)Data Analysis & Critical ThinkingDocumentation & Process StandardizationCross-Functional CollaborationCommunication & Training SkillsProject Management & PrioritizationSafety & Quality FocusContinuous Improvement MindsetBenefits:PTO/ESSTPaid holidays$100 individual deductible and $300 family deductible health insurancePaid WeeklyVision and Dental Insurance401K / Life Insurance / STD
