Forklift Operator

Fast paced manufacturing and warehouse operation is seeking a material handler/forklift operator for its 7:00am - 3:30pm shift.

Job Responsibility Summary

• Receiving and warehousing of incoming raw materials
  • Ensure proper documentation for load
  • Unload truck
  • Ensure product description and count matches packing list
  • Inspect for damaged material
  • Transport product to proper warehouse location
• Distribution of raw materials to production
  • Communicate with operations to determine what raw materials are required at each machine
  • Transport selected raw materials from warehouse to designated machines
• Preparing finished goods from manufacturing for shipment
  • Strap, stretch wrap, weigh and label finished goods pallets
  • Transport finished goods to proper warehouse location
• Warehousing and shipping finished goods
  • Ensure proper documentation for load
  • Ensure product description and count matches packing list
  • Transport finished product from warehouse/manufacturing to loading dock
  • Inspect for damaged material
  • Load truck

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and ability required.

• Education/Licensure/Credentials Required: Forklift Certification along with strong computer proficiency
• Experience Required: Minimum of 1-year warehousing and fork lift experience
• Special Knowledge/Skills Required: Detail oriented, good communication skills, ability to work with minimum supervision, computer literate with good keyboard skills
