As a Spray Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and appearance of client landscapes by performing weed control and fertilization procedures, ensuring safety, and upholding Yardnique’s high standards of service. Responsibilities Schedule and perform weed control and fertilization procedures, prioritizing inspections and maintenance tasks. Operate vehicles and equipment such as trucks, sprayers, and spreaders for the application of herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and fertilizers. Utilize hand‑held manual sprayers for targeted applications. Apply chemicals and fertilizers in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Maintain cleanliness and organization of facilities, equipment, and inventory. Keep accurate records of all chemical and biological agents used. Prepare and mix chemical agents as needed for various applications. Ensure safe and appropriate use, mixing, and disposal of chemicals and hazardous materials. Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met. Obtain written quotes for procurement of parts, materials, and equipment as needed. Follow all company safety policies and procedures during work activities. Work outdoors in various weather conditions and assist with emergency mitigation efforts as required. Qualifications High school diploma or GED Valid driver’s license Pesticide license Minimum of 1 year of experience as a spray technician Work involves physical activity in outdoor environments, including exposure to dirt, water, chemicals, and varying weather conditions.
