Job Title Welder 1 – 2nd Shift Job Summary This is your opportunity to obtain a dynamic and rewarding career at the Philips Latham, New York site where magnetic resonance imaging magnets are manufactured. Responsibilities Complete high quality TIG and MIG welds using precision instruments. Perform cutting, bending, drilling, tapping, and other fabrication operations for intricate assemblies used in cryogenic applications. Read and understand drawings and supporting documents. Qualifications At least 1 year of welding experience. Experience using mechanical assembly tools. High school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in vacuum leak‑tight TIG welds on aluminum. Experience operating bridge cranes and forklift trucks. Ability to read, write, and follow documentation assembly procedures and sign off documentation. Shift & Location Onsite role on 2nd shift, Monday‑Friday from 3:20pm to 11:30pm. Must reside in or within commuting distance to Latham, NY. Pay & Benefits Pay range: $19.00 to $28.00 per hour plus overtime eligibility and 2nd shift differential. Other compensation may include an annual incentive bonus, sales commission, or long‑term incentives. Employees are eligible for Philips Total Rewards, including generous PTO, 401(k) with up to 7% match, HSA with company contribution, stock purchase plan, education reimbursement, and more.
