Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist I (Manheim)

Job Overview Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist I – Management Level, Individual Contributor. Hourly base pay: $17.35 (range $16.63 – $24.90). Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 2:00PM – 10:00PM. Location: Must work onsite at a specified Cox location; no remote option. Travel required. Key Responsibilities Input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 computer using a handheld computer (Portable Terminal – PT) or via headset for data entry. Record VIN, stock number, dealer ID, make, model, year, mileage, color, options, etc. Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle received. Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry. Flag “no key” vehicles and direct transporters to the proper drop zone. Report transport damage as needed. Take a digital image of each vehicle upon receipt. Provide proper sale identification windshield code during registration/check‑in. Follow all safety and health procedures and model related behaviors. Perform other duties assigned by manager or supervisor, e.g., assist on sale days, drive vehicles through auction sales lanes. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Less than 2 years of related experience; 1–3 years of auction or vehicle registration experience preferred. Valid driver’s license; safe driver required. Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission. Basic computer skills. Physical requirements: stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear regularly; stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb frequently; lift 1–15 pounds; vision: close, distance, color, depth, focus. Work Environment & Physical Demands Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions and moderate noise level. Drug Testing Pre‑employment drug testing required.
