Pediatric Occupational Therapist

OT Lead PositionWe are looking for an OT Lead with at least three years of pediatric experience to join our incredible team and help us build an Occupational Therapy program from the ground up. We see OT as a vital part of a family's therapy journey and are looking for someone who is passionate about building a strong, collaborative program and helping to expand Parkwood's reputation as a premier pediatric therapy provider in the Portland metro area.Duties and Responsibilities include:Produce comprehensive Occupational Therapy Evaluations to the Parkwood standard of qualityTreatment of clients across all ages and abilities continuumUse of Fusion by Ensora Health EMR to support the clinical documentation process, including but not limited to: evaluation writing, goal writing, completing letters of medical necessity, treatment notes (including the use of correct CPT Code(s) & ICD-10(s)), re-evaluations, screenings, signed mutual exchanges of information, correspondence with referring providers/interdisciplinary communication & collaborationMaintain all requirements for AOTA, Oregon and Washington licensureOur ideal candidate supports our company's purpose and possesses the following skills:Clinical Skills:Enjoys working with the pediatric population and their families/caregiversCreative, wholistic approach to treatmentStrong behavior management skills across pediatric populationsDriven to meet clinic and client goals/targetsAbility to initiate and foster professional relationshipsLikes to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentDesire to learn and advance clinical skill setNon-Clinical/Soft Skills:Effective and efficient problem-solving abilitiesConfident, outgoing, professional demeanorStrong communication skillsFlexibility in thinking and ability to adapt quickly to changesExcellent time management skillsClose attention to detailStrong organizational skillsExcellent attendance and punctualityProfessional dress and appearanceEducation:Master's degree (required)Licenses/Certifications:Oregon License (required)Washington licenseAdditional Languages:We serve culturally and linguistically diverse client populations.
