Associate Director, Building SurveyingBuilt Asset Solutions | Southampton Permanent | Full-time | Hybrid working About the role This role is a strategic hire for our Southampton office and South regional Built Asset Solutions team. We are looking for an Associate Director who can lead building surveying commissions, drive the growth of our projects offering and expand our presence in a key market. Alongside client leadership and commercial focus, you will manage, mentor and develop team members, helping build the capability, confidence and culture needed for long-term success. This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished chartered building surveyor to take the next step in their career. You will lead commissions, advise clients on complex built asset matters and support the growth of our Southampton building surveying business.Key responsibilitiesLead the delivery of varied building surveying commissions across client portfolios and built assets Build, develop and retain senior client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser on strategic property and asset matters Support regional growth by identifying opportunities, securing work and delivering commissionsManage, mentor and develop junior team members, building capability and supporting the growth of future leadersAbout you You will be a commercially minded chartered building surveyor with a growth mindset and a people focused approached to internal and external relationships. You will be highly skilled in project design, specification and contract administration, with excellent knowledge of construction contracts.
