Job TitleRate of Pay: $20.02 per hourSchedule: Follows the Board Approved Calendar and Collective Bargaining Agreement requirementsInsurance: Generous health, dental, and vision contribution from the district.PERS Retirement: The district assumes and pays the 6% average employee contribution to the Oregon PERS system.Benefits to working at KFCS:Student loan forgiveness for those who qualify.Opportunity to work with a diverse student population.District-supported child care is available.Work in a highly supportive environment.Current Contract – KFACE ContractFunction: Perform a variety of office duty tasks such as welcoming visitors, answering the phone, scheduling appointments, photocopying, filing, opening and distributing mail, and other duties necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the program. Establish and maintain a positive and effective working relationship with all program staff, families, service providers, and the public.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Support the program administrator with administrative functions.Make independent decisions in accordance with established policies and program procedures.Manage student records, including registration, records requests, payroll submissions, state reports, and all student files.Maintain and update student immunization and health records.Collect and maintain program records such as fire drills, employee steps in the Oregon Online Registry, and required training hours.Maintain accurate attendance data.Provide basic first aid to children as needed.Assist both certified and classified staff.Maintain inventory and place orders for general supplies.Accurately track and submit timesheets for payroll.Coordinate assigned programs and activities (e.g., substitute teacher scheduling meetings, in-service day activities, workshops, ceremonies, field trips).Assist and/or orient volunteers and new site staff regarding school and district practices.Keep all student information confidential.Exhibit a positive, upbeat attitude.Develop and maintain positive working relationships with students, staff, families, and visitors.Perform all other related duties as assigned.Qualification Requirements:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each duty. Must adhere to District COVID requirements.Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Three years clerical experience or combination of experience and training preferred.Additional Requirements:Moderate computer skillsAbility to multitask and manage competing prioritiesProficiency in running software applicationsAdaptability to varied tasks and situationsStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independentlyAbility to satisfactorily perform all assigned dutiesEducation and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED required.
