Dental Hygienist Position

At Timberlane Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics, our goal is to provide patients with the expert, quality care they want in the comfortable, personal environment they deserve. The atmosphere in our Burlington, South Burlington, Essex Junction, and Shelburne offices is professional, yet relaxed and welcoming.

We are looking for someone with:

• An active Vermont Dental Hygienist License.
• A positive attitude and willingness to grow.
• Passion for dentistry and working with kids.
• Someone who thrives in a busy environment and is a team player.

Responsibilities include:

• Comprehensive preventive care visits including dental cleanings and calculus removal.
• Educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices and providing personalized recommendations.
• Taking and developing dental x-rays to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Assisting the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Documenting patient information, treatment plans, and progress in electronic health records.
• Administering fluoride treatments and applying dental sealants as needed.
• Staying updated on industry best practices and advancements in dental hygiene techniques.
• Collaborating with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional patient care.
• Upholding infection control and safety standards to create a comfortable and secure environment for patients and staff.
