Contract | Night Shift (18:00–06:30) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 23-bed Medical Surgical unit with a maximum nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
- Work night shift hours with rotating every-other-weekend scheduling
- Float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for Medical Surgical assignments as needed, unless telemetry trained
- Adhere to holiday scheduling requirements, with no more than one holiday off request per contract period
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Ability to work night shifts (18:00–06:30) and every other weekend
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Telemetry training or experience (reduces floating requirement to PCU)
- Prior Medical Surgical nursing experience in an acute care setting
