We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our hematology/oncology team across three outpatient infusion centers. This role is ideal for a nurse that is highly organized, clinically skilled, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment caring for medically complex patients. The RN plays a critical role in delivering infusion therapy, coordinating care, and supporting treatment throughout treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Access and manage central lines including mediports and PICC lines
• Start peripheral IVs
• Prepare and mix oncology medications on-site in accordance with safety protocols
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, iron infusions, and supportive care medications
• Monitor patients during treatment and manage adverse reactions
• Provide patient education on treatment, side effects, and symptom management
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to coordinate care
• Review labs and ensure proper follow up
• Document accurately and efficiently in EMR
• Maintain safe handling, preparation, and administration of oncology medications

Schedule and Work Expectations

• 4-day workweek with 10 hour shifts 8am-6pm
• One consistent weekday off
• No weekends or major holidays
• Position is based across three locations:  Royal Oak, Troy, and Clarkston and travel between sites may be required
• After one year of employment, RNs are cross-trained to work in a phone triage role

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Michigan
• BLS certification
• One year hospital experience  required
• Prior oncology experience preferred
• Strong IV skills
• Ability to adapt to a high-volume, team-oriented environment
