We are partnering with the State of Rhode Island's Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities & Hospitals (BHDDH) to find a dynamic Community Engagement Manager to support the Recovery Friendly Workplace (RFW) Initiative. The ideal candidate will possess strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills, with experience in community outreach, employer engagement, business development, and program promotion.

Pay & Job Highlights:
Pay Rate: $41 per hour
Location: Providence, RI

Responsibilities of the Community Engagement Manager:

• Build relationships with employers, business associations, and community partners by conducting outreach.
• Deliver presentations, workshops, and training sessions on Recovery Friendly Workplace principles, mental health awareness, substance use, and workplace wellness.
• Maintain accurate outreach activity, employer engagement, and training records within the CRM system while preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly program reports.
• Represent the Recovery Friendly Workplace initiative at networking events, conferences, and community meetings.

Qualifications of the Community Engagement Manager:

• Previous experience in community outreach, business development, employer engagement, workforce development, marketing, public relations, behavioral health, or program coordination preferred.
• Strong public speaking, presentation, relationship-building, and customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences and develop lasting partnerships.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel throughout Rhode Island.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other digital communication tools; experience with behavioral health, workplace wellness, or recovery initiatives is a plus.
