Job Description:

Schedule - Weekend requirement: Every other weekend (EOW)

Assignment Details:

• Unit size: 19 beds
• Patient population: Adults / Geriatrics with acute medical diagnoses
• Charting system: EPIC

Requirements:

• License: NY RN license required
• Experience: Minimum 1 year recent RN experience
• Certifications: BLS
• EMR: EPIC experience required
• Mandatory competencies: Phlebotomy and IV insertion

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with acute medical conditions.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support effective patient care.
• Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols.

Compliance / Notes:

• RTO restriction: Close to 1 week (no RTO greater than ~10 days)
• Scrub colors: Navy and white combinations acceptable
