This is a unique opportunity to apply your clinical expertise in a meaningful and rewarding setting, supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) across the Finger Lakes region of New York.As a trusted clinical leader, you will play a critical role in advancing the mental health, independence, and quality of life of the people we support through comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management.Why This Role MattersAt Mozaic, we believe every person deserves access to high-quality behavioral health services that promote dignity, choice, and well-being. As our Psychiatrist, you'll collaborate with a highly skilled team of clinicians, nurses, and support professionals to deliver individualized, evidence-based psychiatric care that helps people thrive.Your expertise will directly influence treatment outcomes, enhance quality of life, and support people in achieving their personal goals.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments.Diagnose and treat mental health and behavioral health conditions.Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans tailored to each person's unique strengths and needs.Provide medication evaluation, prescribing, and ongoing medication management.Collaborate closely with psychologists, nurses, primary care providers, and interdisciplinary teams.Monitor treatment effectiveness and make clinical adjustments to optimize outcomes.Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.Support best practices in behavioral health care for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.QualificationsDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.Active New York State Medical License.Current DEA Registration.Valid New York State Driver's License.Location FlexibilitySeneca, Cayuga, or Yates CountyWe are willing to work with you to determine the location(s) that best meet your availability and preferences.Compensation$130 - $150 per HourCompensation is based on experience, qualifications, specialized expertise, and market considerations.For more information about this opportunity, please contact:Lori Priebsch Assistant Director of Clinical Services View phone number on us.fitly.work ext. 31287Why Choose Mozaic?Mozaic is a mission-driven nonprofit organization serving more than 2,000 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout the Finger Lakes Region.
