About the Opportunity - AR Accountant
A growing hospitality organization in downtown Nashville is seeking a detail-oriented AR Accountant to manage accounts receivable operations and support the financial health of multiple business units. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with operations leadership, and contribute to accurate financial reporting and cash flow management.

Key Responsibilities - AR Accountant

Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, cash applications, collections, and account reconciliations.
Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on outstanding balances.
Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and customer account inquiries.
Prepare and maintain accurate AR records, journal entries, and supporting documentation.
Reconcile customer accounts and assist with month-end close activities.
Generate AR reports and provide analysis to accounting and finance leadership.
Collaborate with hotel, restaurant, or hospitality operations teams to ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition.
Support audits and maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Support special projects and provide Task Force accounting assistance during periods of high volume or operational need.

Qualifications - AR Accountant

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
3+ years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience.
Hospitality industry experience strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of AR processes, reconciliations, and general accounting principles.
Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and customer service orientation when working with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience with month-end close, reporting, and financial statement support is a plus.
