Volunteer Coordinator (TEMPORARY) (6430)

Position Overview Job Location: New Braunfels, TX 78130. Position Type: Temporary Full Time. Education Level: Bachelor's Degree. Travel Percentage: None. Job Shift: Any. Job Category: Public Relations. Schedule – Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Responsibilities Plan, develop, coordinate, manage, and monitor all volunteer activities related to the New Braunfels Corps. Recruit, screen, train, and place volunteer staff to maintain adequate support for program needs. Maintain up-to-date records for all volunteers and prepare related reports. Plan and coordinate an annual volunteer appreciation luncheon and ongoing volunteer recognition. Drive vans or trucks (Non‑DOT) to assigned locations to pick up gifts and deliver them to the Christmas warehouse or Corps, scheduling pickups on the most direct route. Communicate with various departments including social services and shelter services to remain aware of volunteer needs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Non‑Profit Administration, Marketing or related field. Two to three years of progressively responsible experience overseeing special events and/or volunteer-related activities, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
