Property Accounting Manager - 100% in office - Strong Property Management Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year. Location: 100% in office. Company Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Property Accounting Manager to join our team in the construction and real estate industry. This permanent position is responsible for the strategic financial direction of the company, overseeing financial operations, draw schedules, loan requisitions, funding coordination with lenders and investors, cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, capital allocations, and financial software such as Yardi, Builder Trend, and QuickBooks. Ensuring effective cash flow management and implementing strategies to optimize financial performance and profitability. Developing and overseeing the company's budgets and forecasts, ensuring financial targets are met. Leading month-end close process and preparing financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements. Managing capital allocation process to ensure the company's financial resources are optimally deployed. Utilizing financial software systems such as Yardi, Builder Trend, and QuickBooks to streamline financial operations. Providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization. Ensuring compliance with all audit requirements and maintaining relationships with external auditors and financial institutions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or CPA preferred. Minimum of 5 years in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in the construction industry. Proven experience with draw schedules, loan requisitions, and funding coordination with lenders and investors. Strong knowledge of cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close. Extensive experience with financial software systems such as Yardi, Builder Trend, and QuickBooks. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to articulate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, able to make sound financial decisions that contribute to the company's strategic objectives.
