Job Opportunity – Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 48-hour weekly contract in a 16-bed Intermediate Care Unit with 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. Mandatory holiday coverage required (either Thanksgiving Day or day after, plus either Christmas Eve/Day or New Year's Eve/Day).

Highlights:

• Intermediate Care Unit setting with diverse patient population including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, Type 2 diabetes, substance abuse, and encephalopathy
• Experience managing heparin drips and critical monitoring protocols
• Structured 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio supporting quality patient care
• 48-hour weekly contract with consistent scheduling
• Immediate start opportunity for experienced IMCU nurses

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license or compact state licensure
• Minimum 2 years of recent IMCU or progressive care experience required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Demonstrated competency with heparin drip management and high-acuity patient care
