Position Title TechnicalQuality Assurance Specialist Position Type Full Time, Remote Position Location Arlington, VA Tracking Code 01143 Daily Responsibilities Ensures productscomply withfederal accessibility/Section 508 regulations. Works with the design team (instructional designer, web content editor, graphic designer, and web developer) to address accessibility, usability, and functionality issues early in the design process. Assiststhe helpdesk with testing/verification of user tickets, andcoordinateschanges/updates with technical staff. Conducts testing of legacy courses to ensure accessibility standards are met with new systems and technologies, coordinatesneeded changes with technical staff. Other duties as assigned. Required: Degree Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field. Required: Certification Certifications: DHS Trusted Tester Certification. Required: Experience Minimum 2 years of related experience. Demonstratedexpertisewith Section 508/accessibility requirementspertaining todistance learning. Demonstratedexperience with JAWS and industry-standard accessibility/Section 508 testing tools. Demonstratedexperience with online delivery platforms including, but not limited to, responsive websites and mobile applications. Ability to multitask under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills (written and verbal). Additional Experience: Familiarity with US Government web development policies and standards. Familiarity with UI/UX principles. Experienced withappropriate hardwareand software used in the creation of digital media. Experience with change and version control systems. Required: Clearance Public Trust or higher.
