Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other building materials for various construction projects
- Install framing, trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, and flooring according to project specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings to ensure accurate execution of work
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform repairs and remodeling on residential or commercial structures as needed
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites at all times
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to complete projects on schedule
Qualifications
- Previous carpentry or construction experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- OSHA certification is a plus
