PA Urgent Care Providers Needed Uniontown, PA Urgent Care November 2, 2026 Ongoing WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking Board-Certified Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for ongoing urgent care coverage beginning November 2, 2026. This opportunity is ideal for experienced urgent care or emergency medicine providers who are comfortable treating patients of all ages and working independently across multiple nearby sites. Assignment Highlights Start Date: November 2, 2026 Coverage Type: Ongoing locums coverage Providers Needed: 5 FTEs Schedule: Monday Sunday, 8:00 AM 8:00 PM Setting: Urgent Care Experience: 2+ years urgent care or 1+ year emergency medicine experience Patient Population: All ages, including pediatrics 6 months+ Average Volume: 3 4 patients per hour Work Model: Independent practice; no onsite supervision EMR: Epic The sites are no more than approximately 30 miles apart. Medical assistants and radiology technicians are onsite. Each location may have 1 3 providers working per day. If a physician is not physically onsite, a physician will be available remotely for clinical escalation. Clinical Scope Providers will see typical urgent care patients presenting with: Cold and flu symptoms Rashes Abrasions and lacerations Sprains Minor burns Other low-acuity illnesses and injuries Providers should be comfortable performing splinting, X-rays/EKGs, blood draws/IVs, I&Ds, and wound care . Higher-acuity patients will be referred to the local emergency department. Requirements Board Certified NP or PA Active Pennsylvania license PA DEA PA CSR BLS ACLS PALS Minimum 2 years urgent care experience OR 1 year emergency medicine experience Comfortable treating patients of all ages, including pediatrics 6 months+ Comfortable with orthopedic procedures, including splinting Comfortable working independently without onsite supervision Why WPA Medicine Staffing?
