Overview: LHH is partnering with a well-established law firm to identify a Litigation Paralegal for its growing legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with experience supporting complex commercial litigation matters who is looking to take on a meaningful role within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting attorneys in commercial litigation, creditor bankruptcy, and collections matters. Key Responsibilities:

• Draft routine pleadings, motions, affidavits, orders, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Proofread and review legal filings and written materials to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with court requirements.
• Maintain litigation calendars and track deadlines, hearings, filings, and case milestones.
• Coordinate the collection, organization, and analysis of documents, records, reports, and evidence in support of discovery and case preparation.
• Assist attorneys with drafting and responding to discovery requests and related litigation matters.
• Manage electronic and physical case files to ensure organization and accessibility throughout the litigation lifecycle.
• Conduct legal and factual research to support ongoing commercial litigation, creditor bankruptcy, and collections matters.
• Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, local counsel, opposing counsel, and other external parties.
• Utilize legal and technical information to make independent recommendations and assist attorneys with case strategy and decision-making.
• Provide additional litigation and administrative support as assigned by attorneys and firm leadership.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of paralegal experience supporting litigation matters.
• Experience with commercial litigation, creditor bankruptcy, collections, or related practice areas strongly preferred.
• Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
• Strong drafting, proofreading, and document review skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Experience managing litigation calendars, deadlines, and court filings.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a legal team.
• Self-starter with strong time management skills and a proactive approach to case support.
• Typing speed of 50+ WPM preferred.

Details:

• Employment Type: Direct Hire
• Location: Raleigh, NC
• Compensation: $65,000-$85,000 annually
• Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
