Clinical Assistant Professor

Position: Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics (Clinician Educator) Organization: The Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California (USC) in collaboration with Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology. USC is the largest private employer in Los Angeles and a world‑class research university. The Division of Neonatology, part of the Fetal and Neonatal Institute, seeks dedicated faculty to contribute to resident and fellow education while providing clinical service in the 58‑bed, State‑of‑the‑Art Newborn and Infant Critical Care Unit at CHLA and one of our four community NICUs. Requirements Must hold an MD or DO degree Board certified in Pediatrics Board certified or eligible in Neonatal‑Perinatal Medicine Desirable Qualifications Clinical experience in clinical neonatology Strong teaching skills Experience in patient‑oriented, educational, QI/PI or outcome research Strong oral and written communication/interpersonal skills Ability to work in a complex, high‑intensity academic environment Children's Hospital Los Angeles has been ranked by the U.S. News & World Report among the top Children's Hospitals in the U.S. for many years. Compensation The annual base salary range for this position is $116,605 – $417,709.
