Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,367 per week

Job Description Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Kennesaw, Georgia. Make a real difference as a travel PTA in Kennesaw, GA working in an outpatient setting. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. The assignment requires adherence to facility policies, safety practices, and documentation standards. Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapy Assistant Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 06/15/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Georgia PTA license required to start the assignment. BLS Certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience working in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred. Demonstrated competency with therapeutic interventions common to outpatient care, including gait training, strengthening, balance, joint mobility, and use of modalities such as hot/cold packs and ultrasound preferred. Ability to document patient progress and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience with therapeutic equipment such as whirlpools, paraffin, TENS, and assistive device training preferred. Experience participating in team conferences and quality improvement projects preferred. Assignment Details Shift pattern: 5x8 schedule. Workdays: Monday–Friday with two evenings extending until 6:00 pm. May be expected to follow facility floating requirements within the client network if requested.
