Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 06/08/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join as a traveling Physical Therapist in Kennesaw, GA at an outpatient facility where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. New grads allowed. Evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, delegate discipline‑specific therapy services, document thoroughly, and participate in student education and professional development. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Georgia Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience in outpatient therapy preferred. Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations, write goals and plans of care, and document according to state, federal, and payer requirements. Demonstrated knowledge of safe patient handling and infection control practices. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in outpatient settings treating musculoskeletal or orthopedic conditions. Experience supervising or mentoring students. Assignment Details Schedule: Monday through Friday with 2 evenings until 6:00 PM. Workweek: 5x8 schedule. Assignment Type: Outpatient setting in Kennesaw, GA; candidate may be expected to follow clinic guidelines for appearance, attendance, and punctuality.
