Vascular Surgeon

Specialty: Surg: Vascular Position Overview Lehigh Valley Health Network, part of Jefferson, is recruiting an attending Vascular Surgeon to assume an established practice from a senior retiring surgeon. The ideal candidate will have an interest and ability in all manners of arterial and venous surgery. Practice locations will include clinic, hospital, OR, and interventional lab privileges in the Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, and East Stroudsburg region of Pennsylvania. There are additional clinical opportunities and responsibilities at teaching hospitals in the Lehigh Valley, including complex aortic surgery, limb salvage, and comprehensive care for venous disease. While an established and experienced vascular surgeon might be the ideal candidate, all applicants will be considered, including surgeons recently out of training. Clinical Responsibilities Perform arterial and venous surgeries in clinic, hospital, OR, and interventional lab settings. Teach and mentor medical students, general surgery residents, and integrated vascular residents. Conduct clinical research, pursue academic scholarship, participate in regional and national surgical societies, and assume clinical and administrative leadership responsibilities.
