Job Description As a Security Officer Access Verification in Austin, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions requiring attention. Monitor access points and assist with visitor and employee entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements. Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities through required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
