HRIS Analyst

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced HRIS Analyst to join a manufacturing company in Troy, Ohio specializing in protective films, technical tapes, and surface-protection products. This is a hands-on role responsible for the daily administration and configuration of Paycor while supporting HR, payroll, and benefits operations. The ideal candidate has strong payroll expertise, takes ownership of system processes, and proactively identifies opportunities for improvement.

Job Duties

• Manage daily administration and configuration of Paycor, including workflows, tables, and system rules
• Maintain employee data, job profiles, pay structures, position control, and organizational hierarchy
• Perform regular data audits to ensure accuracy and integrity
• Maintain payroll-to-GL mappings for earnings, deductions, taxes, and labor allocations
• Partner with Accounting on cost centers, GL codes, and financial workflows
• Support payroll processing, system validation, data accuracy, and issue resolution
• Administer benefits, including new-hire enrollments, life events, and ongoing updates
• Manage eligibility files and carrier feeds and resolve discrepancies
• Lead open enrollment system setup, testing, employee communication, and reporting
• Reconcile monthly benefit billing
• Identify and implement improvements across HR, payroll, and benefits workflows
• Lead testing and implementation of system updates, patches, and new functionality
• Develop and maintain SOPs and train HR and payroll team members on system processes
• Troubleshoot complex HRIS, payroll, and benefits issues and manage vendor tickets through resolution
• Provide guidance and training on reporting and system functionality

Requirements

• Strong hands-on HRIS administration and system configuration experience
• Experience working with Paycor strongly preferred
• Strong payroll knowledge, particularly deductions, tax mappings, GL integrations, and benefits interfaces
• Experience supporting payroll and benefits operations
• Strong data accuracy, auditing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage system improvements and cross-functional projects
