Room Attendant

Position Overview Work effectively as part of the housekeeping service team to provide efficient and courteous service. Primarily responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service. Responsibilities Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards, including vacuuming and dusting. Set up, deliver, refresh, and present all special room requests. Complete all pre‑cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set‑up. Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways. Keep all hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed. Report missing items (e.g., hair dryers, technology) and follow standard procedures. Follow Lost & Found procedures to report items immediately. Ensure equipment and facilities are functioning properly and report any malfunction. Input real‑time assessments via KYC and convey guest opportunities clearly. Perform other reasonable duties requested by leadership. Attend pre‑shift meetings to learn shift details and guest expectations. Participate in all required meetings. Anticipate and understand guest service needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond promptly to concerns. Greet, welcome, and acknowledge guests by name while responding courteously. Provide dependable, punctual, and enthusiastic service to all guests and colleagues. Thank guests with genuine appreciation and identify opportunities to optimize performance. Maintain professional relationships internally and externally. Follow all company safety and security policies and report any maintenance problems or hazards. Maintain a clean and professional appearance and safeguard confidential information. Qualifications Passionate about cleanliness and physically fit for the job. Previous similar housekeeping or related experience. Team player, hard worker, and detail oriented. Flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24‑hour operation.
