Retail Sales Associate

Position Overview We are looking for a Full‑Time Retail Sales Associate to join our pawn store locations nationwide. The role offers an hourly wage of $15.00 to $18.00 plus commission for each transaction processed. Applicants will work most stores from 9 AM to 6 PM, many of which are closed on Sundays. The position is entry‑level, with no prior experience required beyond a high school education. Responsibilities Greet and engage customers, building rapport to recommend appropriate financial solutions. Perform non‑management open/close procedures. Maintain a clean, stocked sales floor and present merchandise displays. Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Handle cash and negotiable items securely. Answer incoming calls per company standards. Communicate legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers. Collaborate effectively with coworkers and managers. Participate in mandatory training. Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Willing and able to perform tasks for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting, in compliance with federal, state, and local law. Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified. May be asked to assist customers outdoors and retrieve products from external storage areas. Minimum age: 18 years old. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Strong desire to serve customers, work with people, and be team‑oriented. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Proficient in basic math calculations. Cash handling experience preferred. Flexible to work multiple business locations and a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office equipment. Bilingual Applicants Applicants who are proficient in additional languages are encouraged to apply. Commission Plan Information The commission incentive plan is proprietary. Pawnbrokers can earn 2‑8% commission based on gross profit of their personal performance.
