About the role

The role of the Process Technician is to produce fill formula for the packaging operation in a safe and quality manner. The Process Technician is responsible for all steps in converting raw materials into finished product, including but not limited to bulk raw material receiving, cleaning (both in place and out of place), process monitoring, spill response cleanup, water sampling, inventory and waste treatment.

Your responsibilities

• Monitor Machine Parameters – Process Technicians must have a deep understanding of the equipment they are responsible for. Technician maintains working knowledge of all pipelines, connections, valves, storage and location of all equipment necessary for this operation.

• Maintain Cleanliness of Process Equipment Area – Technicians maintain clean work areas, tanks, transfer lines and all other equipment, using various cleaning agents as required.

• Maintain Equipment and Batch Logs – Technicians follow Global Manufacturing Quality Manual, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Control Plans, and Work Instruc

The experience we're looking for

• Prior Forklift driving experience required

• Prior experience in a chemical mixing role highly preferred

• Technology Proficiency – Computer Literacy Skills (for email, automated batching, inventory systems, payroll, etc). Technicians operate Lift Truck to move/store raw materials. ·

• Must be able to frequently stand, stoop, bend, reach overhead, walk, climb/ work from heights, and lift up to 50 pounds

The skills for success

• Linear Thinking Skills – Technicians must follow detailed written methods, instructions and formula for mixing, blending and compounding specific ingredients in precise amounts for the manufacture of consumer and industrial products. Technicians distinguish between various raw materials by proper labels and physical properties.

• Analytical Skills – Technicians must have the ability to collect and analyze information, problem-solve, and make decisions as a fully participating member of a self-managed work team
