Florida Driver’s license and knowledge of UF’s campus are required. Must be dependable. Must be willing to work inside and outside. Ability to work 3 – 4-hour blocks of time during normal business hours preferred, for 12 - 20 hours per week. Lunchtime availability is helpful. Must be knowledgeable in MS Word, Excel, and Access.

Job Description:

The Hazardous Waste Management Program of Environmental Health & Safety is seeking a part-time assistant to:

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning at UF’s waste management facility.
• Deliver and pick up materials around campus as necessary.
• Perform filing and record keeping in support of Hazardous Material Management Program.
• Answer phones and direct clients to proper support function or staff.

Expected Salary:

$15.00 per hour.
