This role focuses on job development, placement, and ongoing support to help people succeed and grow in their work. If you're a strong relationship-builder who is patient, organized, compassionate, and motivated to make a difference, you'll thrive at Rise!This position may be filled at the Employment Consultant Level 1 or Employment Consultant Level 2, depending on qualifications, experience, and program needs.ResponsibilitiesPartner with people we serve to identify employment goals and develop personalized job plansProvide job search support including resume development, interview preparation, and job coachingDevelop and maintain relationships with local employers to create competitive, integrated job opportunitiesProvide on-the-job support and follow-up services to promote long-term job retentionAdvocate for workplace accommodations and support inclusive employment practicesCollaborate with case managers, vocational rehabilitation counselors, social workers, and support teamsMaintain accurate and timely documentation, service notes, and billing recordsTravel throughout the assigned service area to meet with participants and employersAdditional Responsibilities for Level 2All Level I qualifications, plus:One year or more of experience in supported employment, job placement, case management, or related servicesAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or related field (or equivalent experience)Experience working with people facing barriers to employment (disabilities, mental health, criminal backgrounds, housing instability, etc.)Ability to manage a higher caseload and more complex employment supportsTravel ExpectationsThis role requires frequent local travel within the assigned service areaDaily travel may include visits to the worksites of people we support, employer locations, community partners, and Rise officesMileage reimbursement provided per Rise policyOccasional meetings or trainings may occur at different Rise locationsRequirementsKnowledge of supported employment field and one year of experience providing job placement and job development services preferred.Associate or Bachelor's degree in human service field or criminal justice preferred or equivalent work history of 2 years.Knowledge and/or experience working with adults with criminal backgrounds, mental health diagnosis, chemical dependency, or homelessness.Background in human services, social work or customer service preferred.Ability to use electronic devices for organization (ie: electronic calendar, email, etc.).Excellent organizational skills.Applicants must comply with and pass Department of Human Services background check (Rule 11).Applicants must have a valid driver license.Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background check.As part of the hiring process, potential candidates may be required to complete the Adaptative Digital Computer Skills Assessment and pass with at least a score of productive and above.BenefitsMedical insurance (single coverage under $90/month)Dental (under $17/month) and vision insurance401(k) with 100% vested employer matchCompany-paid Basic Life & AD&DVoluntary Life, STD, LTDFlexible Spending AccountTuition reimbursement + Rise-sponsored training (CPR, First Aid, etc.)PTO starts at 16 days in year one, plus 2 floating holidays & 48 hours ESSTEmployee Resource Groups (DEI, LGBTQ+, Neurodiversity, and more)Supportive, fun culture with real advancement opportunitiesPSLF-eligible employer, your qualified student loan balance may be forgiven after 120 covered payments.Why Rise?We are a person-centered, inclusive organization that values diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
