Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Nephrology and Hypertension Clinic role requiring nephrology experience and an Iowa or compact RN license.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting within a Nephrology and Hypertension department
• Patient population includes kidney transplant patients
• Day shift schedule, 4x9s from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses

Requirements

• Active RN license (Iowa state or compact) required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of nephrology nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years required at time of consideration
• Completed skills checklist within 1 year required for consideration
• At least 1 completed travel contract preferred

Additional Information

• Contribute professional and clinical nursing knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Not eligible if employed by the facility within the past 12 months
• Orientation held every Monday
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
