Pediatric Skilled Nursing Facility Speech & Language Pathology - Sebastopol, California

Step into a dynamic contract role where you'll help elementary students (TK-6) reach their full communication potential in a welcoming school environment. For the remainder of the academic year, you'll support a caseload of approximately 50 students on one site, focusing primarily on group therapy sessions with a few assessments to complete before year's end. What's more, you'll benefit from ongoing virtual support from an experienced SLP to help you thrive in your role.


Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active California SLP license or eligible for California licensure
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also encouraged
• Experience with pediatric populations, especially in a school or healthcare setting
• Solid understanding of elementary school speech and language disorders and effective intervention strategies
• Comfortable conducting group sessions and performing assessments
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging group speech-language therapy to elementary students (TK-6)
• Conduct a small number of targeted assessments before the academic year concludes
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and district policies
• Collaborate with general and special education staff, as well as families, to support student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans
• Engage in regular virtual mentorship and guidance from another SLP
