Senior SAP Basis Administrator T4- Remote

SAP Basis Specialist
Qualifications/Requirements
- 10+ years in SAP Basis
- Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, Solution Manager, PI/PO, etc.)
- Manage client copies, system refreshes, transport management, performance tuning, and user administration
- Monitor system health, logs, and jobs to ensure optimal performance
Cloud Knowledge
- Support SAP systems hosted on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Understand concepts around VPCs, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and endpoint architecture for SAP workloads
- Collaborate with cloud engineering teams to ensure secure connectivity between on-prem and cloud
Upgrades & Patching
- Plan and execute system upgrades, enhancement packs, support packs, and kernel upgrades
- Ensure minimal downtime through effective cutover planning and system copies
- Conduct regression testing and validation post-upgrade
SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- Support integration of BTP services with on-premise and cloud SAP systems
- Ensure security, connectivity, and performance of BTP-based applications
Security & Compliance
- Manage SAP authorizations, roles, and profiles
- Ensure compliance with security standards (IAM, SSO, certificates, GDPR, SOX, etc.)
- Conduct audits and vulnerability assessments
Operations & Support
- Manage system monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery procedures
- Troubleshoot issues across SAP applications, DBs, and OS layers
- Collaborate with functional/technical teams for smooth operations
