This role involves building, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting SAP systems while supporting ongoing technical operations and project initiatives. The position operates in a team environment performing senior-level SAP BASIS administration for a wide variety of SAP applications, components, and integrated solutions. Responsibilities include system builds, upgrades, transports, system copies, high availability support, and technical troubleshooting across SAP platforms.Core Responsibilities • Build and deploy new SAP systems, including ABAP, Java, and SAP HANA environments. • Configure, administer, and support existing SAP systems across multiple landscapes and applications. • Execute transports using OS-level methods, TMS, SAP tools, and third-party transport solutions. • Support high availability SAP environments and ensure ongoing system stability. • Perform homogeneous system copy procedures for ABAP and Java systems. • Provide technical support to SAP developers, configurators, and application teams. • Troubleshoot SAP technical issues across application areas and products, including system communications and integration components. • Support concurrent SAP environments spanning multiple landscapes and SAP applications. • Coordinate engineering activities related to technical development, scheduling, testing, issue resolution, and design changes.Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies • Experience providing advanced SAP BASIS administration support for one or more NetWeaver-based systems, including ECC, SRM, XI/PI, Enterprise Portal, and Business Intelligence. • Senior-level experience performing ABAP and Java homogeneous system copy procedures. • Demonstrated experience with networking, Microsoft Windows, UNIX, Linux, and Java as related to SAP system support. • Experience supporting an SAP go-live implementation and an SAP upgrade. • Strong SAP troubleshooting skills in one or more of the following areas: ALE/RFC, IDOC processing, update processing, system communications, tRFC/qRFC processing, XI message processing, and ABAP dump or DEV trace analysis. • Experience supporting at least one full SAP ECC landscape lifecycle from development through production go-live.Preferred Skills or Experience • Experience supporting high availability SAP environments. • Experience supporting multiple SAP landscapes across multiple SAP applications. • Experience configuring and managing SAP HANA systems, including HANA clusters and scale-up or scale-out appliances. • SAP HANA operational experience including installations, backups, upgrades, patching, add-on components, SLT, and BusinessObjects environments. • Experience supporting CHARM, Wiley monitoring, and SAP Solution Manager diagnostics. • Experience with SAP HANA administration, including schema management, data model objects, content import/export, and SQL. • Experience performing operating system and database migrations to Linux. • Experience supporting Adobe Connect, Virsa, SAP Solution Manager, or Data Services. • Experience providing Oracle, Windows, and Linux/UNIX support for SAP applications, including shell scripting. • Skilled in CCMS administration and configuration. • Knowledge of Java NetWeaver Administration, including SLD strategies and administration. • Experience with Enhanced CTS+ setup and configuration. • ABAP debugging and performance analysis skills. • Experience supporting Rev-Trac, BI performance tuning, SAP SNC, SAP archiving, and Vertex products. • Proven customer service, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently on self-initiated tasks with minimal direction. • Experience providing advanced SAP BASIS administration support for SAP HANA environments. • Experience with SAP Fiori and Personas administration. • Experience applying agile practices within SAP cloud-based environments.Work Details • Remote (full-time telework). • Work schedule: 4/10-A.Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.Nesco Resource provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
