Job Summary:

To receive both visitors and callers, determine the nature of their business, and direct them to the appropriate Cardinal personnel. Operating the switchboard and maintaining telephone listing information; assisting the accounting team with clerical and administrative support duties.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet customers, visitors, and guests courteously and professionally. Determine the purpose of the visit and direct the individual to the appropriate location.
• Answer, screen, and direct telephone callers to the appropriate personnel.
  
• Maintain an organized and professional appearance in the reception area at all times.
• Provide training to employees providing front desk relief and backup telephone coverage.
• Notify supervisor of issues/problems/needs that arise in the reception area.
• Open, sort, and distribute daily mail.
• Match packaging slips to invoices.
• Scan backup documents as needed for other departments.
• Prepare invoices and statements for mailing.
• Provide clerical and administrative support to all departments as needed, including data entry, preparation and editing of various documents.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous switchboard and/or administrative experience preferred.
