Lead Fraud Data Scientist

Salary: $120,000 - 160,000 per year Requirements:

• We have at least five years of related experience in fraud strategy or fraud data science.
• We understand statistical techniques, including classical statistics, probability theory, econometrics, and time-series analysis.
• We are proficient in data extraction environments such as SQL.
• We have working knowledge of Python, Hive, Spark, Athena, and Amazon SageMaker.
• We hold an undergraduate degree or have an equivalent combination of training and experience; a graduate degree is preferred.

• We develop fraud rules and prevention strategies within fraud mitigation systems and perform advanced analysis on structured and unstructured data.
• We manage and support fraud strategy projects and processes, including governance frameworks, data structures, and deliverables.
• We apply analytics and statistical expertise to assess risk and recommend action plans.
• We gather, analyze, and communicate fraud mitigation statistics and insights to stakeholders.
• We support product delivery and validate scalable analytical work.
• We review products to confirm they align with stakeholder needs and cultivate vendor relationships that support analytical capabilities.
• We ensure our team deliverables align with enterprise objectives.
• We build strategic relationships to better understand business processes and develop risk mitigation approaches.
• We organize requests and convert requirements into an analytical plan.
• We present our recommendations to key business partners as needed.
• We stay informed on industry trends.
• We advocate for the adoption of governance practices.
• We contribute to special projects and carry out other assigned duties.
