Make a difference in the lives of students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year! This rewarding contract position offers the opportunity to support diverse elementary, middle, and high school students by providing essential speech and language services across several school sites in the Ellicott City area. Flexible arrangements allow for combining assignments to achieve full-time hours.

Begin your journey August 10th, 2026, working 37.5 hours per week through June 9th, 2027. Your skills and dedication will support both long-term student growth and positive communication outcomes in a collaborative educational environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Maryland SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
• Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Passion for providing evidence-based, student-focused therapy

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy to a varied caseload at elementary and middle school sites, with potential full-time placement at Wilde Lake HS/Howard HS
• Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and participate in team meetings
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust therapy in collaboration with educators and families
• Support compliance with state and district policies regarding special education services
