The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across St. Johns seeking Bookkeepers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Record financial transactions and maintain ledgers.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
- Manage payroll processing and related tax filings.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and cost of goods sold.
Recommended Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a bookkeeping role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Experience with inventory costing and reconciliation in a manufacturing context.
- Ability to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions independently.
