The Opportunity
We are collaborating with multiple companies in DeWitt seeking experienced Staff Accountants. These organizations value long-term fit and are looking for professionals who bring both skill and alignment. By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank statements and various balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close, accruals, and reclassifications.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and inventory valuation.
- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely vendor payments.
- Support external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
- Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of experience in general ledger accounting
- Experience with an ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
